Admitted, Now What?

Congratulations on your admission! Here are your next steps:

  1. Accept the offer: Log into your My Status page and reply to your offer of admission to gain access to pay the deposit.
  2. Submit payment: Pay the commitment deposit to gain access to UGA's DegreeWorks, which helps you understand your credit contributions.
  3. Schedule Orientation: Look for an email from the Office of Admissions with instructions on registering for a required in-person orientation session.
  4. Complete 101 Modules: These must be done before attending your orientation and can be accessed through your My Status page. Please complete the Academic Advising Step 1 Form prior to the advising appointment.
  5. Check for holds: Visit https://reg.uga.edu/enrollment-and-registration/holds/ to view any holds on your account.
  6. Meet with Academic Advisor: An advising appointment will be scheduled during your orientation session. Please keep an eye on your UGA email.
  7. Register for courses: After your advising appointment, you will be able to complete class registration barring any other holds that may be on your student account.
  8. Explore Housing Options: Consider on-campus housing but be aware it fills quickly. Learn more at https://housing.uga.edu/register/.
